dark light

I saw a Texan 6 line up in a movie today!

Funny the thing’s you spot out of ALL the junk!

The Movie’s called ” Fielder’s Choice “, crap movie(Step.D. Ange liked it but)

The young boy in it was of our type, Mad on plane’s 😎

At an airfield/airport they went too, was a line up of AT-6’s, you will see the one with the German marking on it below(just of the net, but where), and the rest of em.

Where was this Airport?,

Looked a bit out in the stick’s, but there appeared to be plenty big new flying buse’s taking off and landing.

Whose are the T-6’s, CAF? or what ever the name is now

Please replie if you know.

Best regard’s, Ciao Phil 😉

I visited Van Nuys a lot in the late 70s and early 80s, and the Condor Squadron was big at that time. What’s neat about the LA area is it can support a T-6 club where there are enough people to support such an endeavor.

The Condor Squadron also appeared in t he mid-80s video of Pat Benatar’s song “Shadows of the Night.” Anyone else recall it or have a video link.

I’ve not seen the movie … but there’s a good chance the Texan line up would have been filmed at Van Nuys, California. When I was there a few years ago there was a goup known as the Condor Squadron based there which had ,at that time, 15 Texans at least one of which was painted in pseudo camo and German markings. They were parked in a line on the turf by the airfield boundary where the group had their headquarters building.
