Radar reflector trials models were quite common but little seen in the old days. Here’s a pic of a Canberra radar returns model which is now resident at Newark Aviation Museum.

There used to be a large RCS model near the gate at the Radar test site at Funtington near Chichester.
Only saw it once,looked a bit like a CF100,but was only a snap look as driving by.
Does anybody know what a/c it represented and does it survive??
I wonder how many people drive by that site without realising it was a ww2 airfield.

If not, I think I’ve just decided what to do with my rebuild of my Airfix Vulcan… there’s a spray can of ‘chrome’ paint nearby….
