Here is a clip of the original Feelgoods doing ‘Riot in cell block nmbr 9’…probably about the most ‘normal’ clip of Wilko playing…

Sarfend 1975…what a great band – I saw them a few times in the early to mid 70’s but never went to see the later incarnations of the band !

Charlie. The one thing I NEVER say is, it’s gone, everyone I have known to have had Cancer, and who have said they are clear, has had it come back and died.
Suffice it to say, Professor Sir Peter Bell, gave me one year, that was 25yrs ago this April 14th, 25 yrs, believed to be longest known survivor of the Op, called, “Whipples Procedure” also known as the Surgeons Nightmare, Took 17 hrs and 2 teams of four to do it.
Now you know why I have a twisted sense of humour, I live for each and every day, and sod tomorrow.:diablo:

Yeah I saw him a couple of times doing support with Norman Watt Roy on bass…As with Wild Willy Barrett (another very talented guy),I just sometimes wished that he would ‘play it straight’ sometimes 🙂

Sad indeed.

I saw him in concert with Feelgoods, and later on his solo tour.

Top bloke.

Andy, apologies for editing your title. I just felt he needed a name-check

Yes that is sad – I saw the original feelgoods live in the 70’s…on a good night they were a great/tight band 🙂

That is very, very sad news – been a big fan from the early days. Saw him and Norman Watt-Roy support the Stranglers last year.
I sincerely hope he manages to party on as long as possible, and he doesn’t suffer when the end comes.

Me too:(. I enjoyed a lot of his post Feelgood material. My neighbour died from it and it was not long from diagnosis to death, as you said. You are a lucky man Linc and I trust you are completely clear – do you have annual checks?

Andy, I like him very much, and when the time comes, he will be sadly missed.
Cancer of the Pancreas is seldom found before it’s too late, and nothing can be done..

I must be the luckiest guy alive, mine was found out very early, by accident, thanks to Leicester Royal, I am still here to tell the tale.
