Since the advent os twin isle wide body aircraft have the single isle planes been blown completely off the profitable north atlantic routes? Is there a place for 737-900/800 or A320 derivatives there today?

Well airlines like Privatair operate 737’s across the pond, and talking of single aisle aircraft, CO, US etc all fly 757’s over the Atlantic.
