i wonder if these topics could be stickied

Dear Mods,
I wonder if these threads could somehow be stickied, they are brilliant threads but sadly dropping to the bottom of the pile.I would like to think that other people having a look on here may have photos and snippets to add to them.
I do believe there were threads as well for Peice of Cake and The Battle of Britain films but i cant find them at the moment.
I don’t know how others on here feel but heres hoping,ta. 🙂

You could subscribe yourself to the thread. You’ll get a personal list with “best of” threads in the User CP.

Hanging stickies on the top of the forum just annoys members and fills up the first page. And, as can be seen from your choice, it is all subjective: I’d like the scrap yard thread to be stickied, for example, and undoubtably others would want anything to do with Spitfires or Mustangs stickied. At the moment the only stickies we have were stuck there by the webmaster, which is probably the fairest, if not the best, way to do it.

Problem is Trumper, a recent thread discovered that too many stickies annoys many forumites. Perhaps the best thing to do is just to bump them up occasional to ensure they are not lost.

best regards, steve
