I would like to know your opinion about IDFs future policy

Hi there,
After hearing about the terminal crisis of the Syrian
Air Forces (of which,incidentally I would like to know more about) and knowing the actual state of Irak´s armed forces I wonder why the Avir is mantaining its rate of modernization when it is already the superpower of the region. Are them afraid of less radical arab states?. And , if so, Why?. Egipt has been a
loyal friend since their peace agreement and the Gulf States had
never done anithing really agresive in the latest times.
