Off to Ireland next week for a holiday so does anyone know if its possible to visit the IAC Museum at Baldonnel. Particularly with regard to opening times as I’m only in the area for a couple of days.
Anywhere else that should be on my list of places to visit?
Cheers all.

IAC Museum visit postscript!
Just returned from our holiday in Ireland and I’d just like to say a very big thank you to the people involved in getting me the base tour and museum visit to Baldonnel on Friday.
Particular thanks must go to Tony Kearns for getting the ball rolling in the first place and also a very big thank you to A/M Michael Whelan for giving up his time to show us round and for making us so welcome. He is a great credit to the IAC. And of course the other base personel we met enroute.
For those who haven’t been yet,the actual museum itself is only one hanger but is very well laid out and full of IAC history.
Hopefully one day it’ll get to become even better as from what I could see there is certainly some great potential.
And I got some good photos too….Thanks Michael!

You could purchase our host magazine Editor’s “Wrecks and Relics” 🙂
Has 5 – 6 pages covering Eire – although, admittedly, it gives no access or contact details for the IAC museum.

If you are prepared to put up your real name I am sure that I could help.
