Hi to all, I’m looking for information on Ian Norman Bayles D.F.C. I know he served with 152 Squadron and I’m looking for further information on the other Squadrons he served with, 135 Sqn & 273 Sqn. The reason for my request for help is that I had a letter today from Helen Jackman from Queensland Australia who is the partner of his Son Alastair Bayles who is 63. She’s hoping to put together a folio for him as a Christmas present. I take it from the letter that the late Ian Bayles, who passed away in 1998, did not talk much about his service record. So any help would be gratefully appreciated.
