Well the last comic thing about Iberia, is that one of its A340 (Santa Teresa de Avila) was about to have a crash in a demostration flight on Matacan Airport (Salamanca), it seems that in a low altitude flight over the spectators touched the ground with the undercarriage, out of the tarmac, broke a shed, causing damages on the structure of the plane and dropping pieces to the motorway. Fortunately the pieces didn´t hit any car and the plane could ascend again…it seems that Iberia is eager to grow again and is looking forward to purchasing TAP…..that would be too much for our neighbours since they always complain that Spain is colonizing them again. Lisbon airport feels affraid that the Lisbon Hub could lose importance and many operations were taken to MAD super airport still in construction. More of repairs. One of its A320 was sent indefinitely to Airbus for repairs after the plane suffered strong vibrations in two flights and the IB engineers couldn´t find the reason. And Sable rattle inside. There are rumors that the airline CEO is about to resign.

RE: Iberia follies
Well , I think that you remember that AF DID it with an A320 at Mulhouse-Basel airport a few year ago. If I can remember 30 were killed.
