Found on the beach at East Wittering about ten years ago.
My guess is that is a joining piece for three different pieces of skin.

Right, found it!
Imperial is most relevant to all dimensions.
Thread diameters 3/16″, nuts 21/64″, hole 3/16″, thickness 1/4″ , step 1 1/32″ and step 2 1/16″

Looking at the bolts I would say it’s of British origine. They look very AGS to me.

No visible numbers on the part itself.
The one hex head bolt has ‘LL’ on the head.
I’ve mislaid my calipers so can’t measure threads at the mo.

There are plenty of aircraft in that immediate sea area, although there was actually a He 111 right there on the beach at East Wittering having been shot down on 26 August 1940.
This does not look very “Heinkel” to me, although if it is the casting should have R8-111 embossed into it somewhere.
I rather suspect it is non-Henkel though.

No sign of any partnumbers? Seems like one corner has broke off.
