I'd be proud to be a security risk at 99 years old

But I bet he doesn’t see it that way.

It could just be a typical journo-generated teacup storm, but it certainly doesn’t put the ‘authorities’ in a good light.

Don`t be silly..there is no `Minister for Common Sense` in Parliament,and the rest don`t have any,or it gets removed on appointment….

Lack of common sense.
The conversation should have gone;
“Why would you like to attend?”
“Because I’m a British war vet and he’s my brother”
The only other thing to hear should have been the approval stamp and an upgrade to 1st class.
In fact it could have been a pr coo if someone had had their brains attached.
“Airline flies BoB vet first class for free”.
