ID of glass with mirror

Hi,

Does anyone know more of this glass with mirrior? Is it British?

Actually I don’t think it is from an Albemarle after all; the Albemarle has a direction-finding loop in a clear perspex teardrop bubble above the cockpit (which is hinged to one side I think).

Possibly this was a modification but it still doesn’t look right. :confused:

There was a very good picture of exactly this piece posted on this forum (that’s one reason that I think it is Albemarle) but I cannot remember who posted it.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies! I’ll try to find a good photo of the Albemarle. The dimension of the glass is 32cm (12.6″) X 27,5cm
(10,8″).

Car door Typhoons had a similar set up but this looks a little bit too big.

I think it is from an Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle.
