ID this oil tank

Hi all went on a little trip over the weekend and brought home a nice collection of bits , one of which is pictured below has got me stumped , a friend of mine suggested its the oil tank from a DH 60 Gipsy Moth , can anyone confirm.

Sure it’s not a header tank for a radiator system. Certainly Gallay made lots of radiators.

The pipe looks to me to be an overflow/pressure release pipe.

At first I thought it might be the header tank off a BE.12b.

Well seeing as a DH 60 Gipsy Moth dosent have a seperate oil tank it aint one of those!!!! It has a wet sump.
As to what it from?????
