ID this stick top / grip?

Hi, can anyone identfy this unknown stick top / grip. All I know is it is made in France. I was told it was from a Mirage but I don’t think so, seems much too short and not enough buttons?

Thanks Paul

Thanks, I agree it must be some sort of weapon or radar controller stick. Photos of Mirage IV rear cockpits on the net are very scarce so I can’t even test your theory Pagen.

Cheers Paul

Definitely typically French but not a flying stick, I think. Weapons controller or something?

I’m not familiar with French kit, but I have a radar controller joystick from a Sea Vixen which is similar to that in the pic in that it is mounted in that style box with potentiometers etc.

This is it naked

It has two buttons, one for declutching the stick from the scanner drive, and also had a rotary controller the display range.
Not sure if that helps at all (maybe just waffle!), but looks like it might do a similar job for a French type.
Maybe backseat Mirage IV?
