I’ve been contacted by a friend to see if anyone can help.
He’s found some prop blades and is wondering what they are from….
I’ve copied his email below rather than re-write…….
“I’ve recently discovered some propeller blades made by Hordern Richmond in a
local barn, and were wondering if you would be able to shed some light on
their origins. I would love to know which aircraft they’re from. Could be
a tiger moth ????
Printed on them are various serial numbers:
SN: HR/WA/P339
Date of manufacture: 17.11.66
Drawing No: WA.7-39-000/3
MOD. Nos: .57.216.229.249
DTD.555.C”
Can anyone shed some light please?
Many thanks
Chris

I was getting a bit worried then Chris, I thought you were forsaking the joys of avtur, for spark plugs….. !
Before I saw the reply about helo blades I was going to suggest Martin at CFS , do they do helo blades as well ?
Cheers, Alan
