Hi all,
Just a quick question, at Duxford’s recent VE Day Airshow, there was a Yak C-11 on the flightline!
Is it possible if anyone could let me have the serial number and confirm if it is a YAK or the LET equivalent.
Many thanks, Tony

I think its at the Ulster Museum.
My thoughts are currently that the photo was taken around 1981 after the Strathallan sale. I remember it looking very intact at Strathallan. G-ACUX VH-UUP
Anyone any more information.

I would think during storage before it went to Southend Historic Aircraft museum.
It ended up with The Rebel Air museum at Earls Coln Essex. before departing i think to Ireland. I also think it was stored down in the Fort museum in Tilbury.
Or Im thinking of another Scion.
As for a date for the photograph any time between the 60s and 70s as it is black and white.
Sorry not much help

Were there not 2 there on the Saturday? G-INFO gives then as 171314 (G-BZMY) and 2511108 (G-YCII)
Whoops, should have been more thorough, I was only there on Sunday

Thanks, Tony
