Just tried again to view the page and given up.
My 56k connection, through Le Freeserve, will download about 10 Mb an hour on an average day. By my Mark 1 calculator (fingers) that page is about 1.1/2 Mb. Makes it about 8 minutes or so, according to my fingers anyway.
I’ll try again sometime and go to the pub while I’m waiting 🙂
BT are finally going to put broadband in around here in June.
Now to find an ISP that doesn’t charge for what I don’t want, being a cheapskate.

Just checked this on a 56K link (true 56K, GPRS phone) and it took 1min45 to download the page (and the photos weren’t cached). Was it taking significantly longer than that?
