Identify WW2 German tail fins.

I found these two photos in an album of my late fathers – he flew Spitfires in the RAF as part of the Polish contingent. There is no information on why the photos were taken or when but can any eagle eyes out there identify the types?
Regards.

Thanks to Peter D Evans and Göran Larson over on LEMB here. With the help of Barry Roschs’ WIP database:

  • Ju88A-4 – 140539 – NL+EM – manufactured by Junkers Flugzeug -u. Motorenwerke AG Bernburg, Germany in January 1943 [sources: Barry Rosch; Junkers homepage; Luftarchiv-Stkz]

Speculation as to the location as being taken in Norway after VE day? I’ll update this with any other info that gets posted. 🙂

First certainly Ju 88 (or 188?). As D1566 says, the other Fw 190.

Second photo is a Fw190, first may be a Ju88?
