The thing holding those pictures back is that they are tiny! Actually that goes for most interesting pictures of things on the web.

15 minutes of Moggy action at Coventry would make my year. Haven’t heard the roar of twin Merlins for ages.

Whilst kitting-up to climb into the Grace Spitfire for the first part of my conversion-to-type (Awarded to me by Key Publishing in yet another attempt to suppress the ‘Spooky’ threads) I discover last week’s winning lottery ticket in the bottom of my flight bag.

And it was a double roll-over 😉

And Kylie presents the cheque this week.

Moggy

And no, you can’t have any money for Vulcan’s or even Sea Vixen resprays, it’s all going on prop-driven stuff.

Kev’s idea was far better though

If only ….. they had built a large military airfield near Brighton so I wouldnt have to drive miles and miles to see some action.

If only……..

I could walk into a hangar and find it full of airmen who never came home. To discover what brand of courage sustained them, what bond of brotherhood bound them together, to share, in some vicarious way, their experiences.

and thank them.

Utter fantasy this one, but here goes.

In her last year of operation, Concorde displays at Duxford’s September show. A couple of slow passes are followed by a fast run in, and a pull up to a rolling climb into the cloudbase on full ‘burners.

😀
