…there was one of these flying!
Hopefully, given enough time and money, TFC’s Mk22 will look just as nice!

Dan – I was having a browse today and I’m sure I saw a downloadable Spitfire MkXII, and it may have been in 41 Sqdn colours….

Not quite as fancy but a buddy and I are rolling in on a low bogey in a couple of Spit Vs in the online multiplayer flight sim Aces High.
It’s a good way for a Spit fanatic to pretend anyway 🙂

That is a beauty indeed Daz. I would by FS2004 and promote the MK22 with a FS-display at Duxford. Maybe that could motivate the boys of TFC to start the rebuilt of their ‘real’ example! 😀
It’s only a sugestion though.

Whose work is this? Excellent – any chance of twisting their arm to do RAF Driffield – I’m sure some Flight Sim fans would like to fly in and out of this former base?
Phil
PS Had this idea of creating a Mk50 Spitfire with Turbo Engine and Ejector Seat – very much like the Piper Enforcer – if you have a few hours to spare?

Had me fooled there Daz, thought it was a real one that I didn’t know about! DOH!

Couldn’t agree more with you Daz.
That’s one of the great things about FS, you can fly those rare machines that you’ll probably never see for real and those that you’ll never see again. 🙂
Looking forward the Spitfire pack and of course the day TFC’s machine takes to the skies! 😀
Cheers
