Aircraft type tomorrow, What would it be and why?
If there are any commercial pilots reading this, if you could change, to which A/C type, and why?

Why so many votes for the 757?
Their damn ugly. :p
Me…
Have to be the 747, big is best.

Without a doubt, Boeing 727.

For me, I would have to say I’d want to give the A332 a go. Just a sexy bird no matter which way you look at one. I am not really sure what it is about this type but I would have to say it might have to do with my only flight on the A332 with AF.

Airbus A320 or Boeing 737…….just for the sheer amount of them (more jobs flying them)

For me its got to be the boeing 707 which my grandfather flew a gourgous aircraft

Airbus A320 as then i could transfer to A330 A340 and A380 easily enough.

Give me a 757 anyday! Preferrably, G-LSAA or G-LSAB :D.

A330. its such a beautiful aircraft, and the cockpit is wonderful, from a pilots perspective (apparently) 😉

As we are on commercial here (So no Hurricanes or A26) my only possible answer would be military C130.
Low level flying in a big ship like that would be just sooooooooooooooooooo much better than boring (appropriate word) straight line holes in the upper atmosphere.

would have to be the 757
By: philgatwick05 - 16th March 2006 at 22:58
757 without a doubt – not to mention the commonality with the 767 it’d be perfect.
By: David2386 - 16th March 2006 at 22:53
Hmm I don’t know.
It’d probably be between the 767/757 or 737-700.

To be honest, as someone who will be looking for a first officer position in about 10 months time it would have to be absolutely anything and for anyone, beggers can’t be choosers. But given the choice I would choose the 777, why? I just love the plane, simple as that, and I also had an hour in a BA 777 simulator at Cranebank Heathrow, another one would be the Dash8 Q400, again I can’t comment on why other than the fact that I like the plane because I have not had the experience in it to give intricate details 🙂
