if you were your country's leader…

if you were your country’s leader what fighter would you pick?

First pick two aircraft that you would love to have (can be any kind from prototype to modern day)

Second think of a fighter that your country can REALISTICALLY purchase at this moment in time.

My choices would be as follows:

Myself in Canada I would love to have either the Su-37 Super Flanker or the S-37 Berkut.

But realistically I think Canada could only really afford the JAS-39 Gripen because the Rafale, Typhoon, JSF, F/A-18E & F and obviously the Raptor are too expensive for the Canadian defence budget
