Makes you wonder what the doctors say when you are out cold on the operating table!:D

LOL at that one. Yeah what i though they should of done is reved the engines a little bit with the breaks on then released them just to give them a little bit more runway

Must be quite an old video as you can clearly see that this happened before the runway at Canberra was lengthened.

Do you think it’s the Soviet pilots or the load configuration of the plane

Well i have seen them in these situation at airfields that dont boast of a long runway such as Agra, with late rotations due to heavy payloads and then holding a low pattern as it slowly gains altitude. I have been woken up in middle of the night a fair few times by low flying IAF 76s. And all IAF Il 76s are flown by Indians… being the Indian Air Force. 😀

These people need to be banned. What if an engine had failed above V1! If the crew wipe themselves out then that’s their own issue but when they take out innocent members of the public then it just isn’t funny.

That aside I did like the controllers comment “cleared for Smirnoff”!

i have seen the IAF IL 76 do that a few times. Maybe not that close but fairly late rotations.
