I'm Back Guys and Girls

Hey people, how have you all been?
I have been very busy of late, mostly with work, and helping my father, he just had two heart attacks in a week, he’s on the mend, but it’s a slow road.

I must say this board looks good now that it’s up and running, nice job Webbie, a lot like mine!

Yes. ‘ Fokker’ is Dutch for breeder, as in someone who breeds dogs or turkeys or whatever kind of livestock/animals.

Arthur –
It was the ‘Fornication Under Consent of the King’ one so thanks for that!

The legend is more intersting though :p

Guys, I can’t thank you enough for the well wishes. It’s good to see that some of the old commeradery is still flowing in the ebs of time. Yes I know I have a lot to make up for and I plan to, but first you’ll have to let me get used to this board!

Not the Fornication Under Consent of the King-bit i hope? That’s a populair legend, but not true. F*ck is simply an old Germanic word which has always ment what it did. In German the word is ‘Ficken’, while in Dutch it has become ‘fokken’ which has shifted it’s meaning to ‘breeding’.

Just to make sure 😉

Good luck to your dad Ja.

G’day mate

Welcome back.

My father in law is just out of hospital after a double bypass operation (following a few minor heart attacks) , likewise, he’s very weak at the moment but with plenty of rest they should recover.
