Saddam Hussein has been a major threat to the stability of the region for many years. If somebody had promised twelve months ago that he would be removed from power in a quick operation with relatively low casualties, and that a fledgling democracy would be installed in Iraq in preparation for the Iraqi people to decide their own future, I’d guess most of us on here would have taken that option regardless of the WMD aspect. I for one am delighted that these horrendous bits of kit haven’t surfaced – my brother and half a dozen mates are all out there even as I type this. Whether these bits of kit exist or not, the job’s been done, and thankfully all my mate will b coming home. Lets stop honking about it.

It is really funny that all the evidence and proof that Bush and Blair had since well before the war you’d think they’d just have to hand over coordinates to the troops on the ground via a nice map with X marking the spot… take a few reporters and a shovel and tadaa the proof we have been claiming we knew about all along.

I think Blair did say they will present proof soon…..bull i should say!

Kabir, Bush and Blair know damn well there were no WMD in Iraq.
It was just a convienient excuse to invade due to the climate, people are still in fear of terror attacks by terrorists and Bush/Blair exploited this by accusing Saddam of being in cahoot with Osama (b*******).
Funny, don’t you think, that Bush said it was nothing to do with oil but now has grabbed Iraqs oil supplies with both hands. 🙂
As long as madmen like Bush have the power, we are all in deep s***. 🙂
Oh, just in case u were wondering, I don’t like American politicans all that much. Outside of the American public and various fatcats around the world, does anyone??? :p

The world should question these two, Bush and Blair, ask there where are the WMDs.

I guess it was of the major reason to invade Irak.
This makes perfect sense BTW since Saoudy is one of the main contributor to terrorism.

No, but that does not matter…
Rumsfeld said earlier this week that these weapons might have been destroyed prior to the war. Foruntaly he has refound his ignorance because he is now saying again that the WMD’s will be found after all.

Also, mister Wolfowitz has declared there were more reasons for invading Iraq.

So either the US wants to leave the gulf entirely (fat chance), or they just wanted another host for their armed forces. Turn Iraq into a military base and pull back off Saudi Arabia.
So in the end it does not matter if WMDs are not found. Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz said so themself… and he must be right!
