Good to have you back Pembo, sounds like an experience on the return, it seems you cant have a flight without a drama at the mo!

The same delay happened to me Pembo, an hour’s delay going out, and an hour and a half’s delay coming back, hope you enjoyed it though!

Well I’m back.

I will try and get a report done soon; flew out on G-JMCE and arrived half an hour early….greeat.

Not so great coming back (just my luck of late); flew on G-FCLB; an hour and half delay and then an aborted landing/go around at Newcastle on the return to gusty winds just before touch down. I know these things are fairly routine, but when you’re expecting to hit the tarmac and all of a sudden find yourself flung back in your seat and shooting upwards; its scary!

Saying that. Last time I flrw on a DA 1-11 the breakfast was a spam type meat product with cheese!!!!

I agree an old noisy 1-11 would be ideal and keep them seperate to ‘respectable holidayers’. In flight catering could be a spam salad.

Bring back the 1-11’s for the 18-30 lot and make their flights between 01-00 and 05-00 am only !!!!!!! 🙂

Club 18-30 aand Twenties peassengers would be better suited to Ryanair than TCX. At best Id put them on a 2335 mid-week departure on MYT DC10 bound for Filakraki!! Haha

Just coz they got the prestigious Thomas Cook name means nowt, they think they are the ‘snobs charter airline’ …

That’s a load of BS…especially bearing in mind a significant proportion of TCX work is Club 18-30!

Take a good book then. Teguise is quite quiet, not for nightowls. There is a few bars but thats it. I prefer Puerto Del Carmen. You could always grab a taxi for a night out. Teguiise is more picturesque, however. Enjoy your holiday babi.

Flew with them as JMC and TCX very very good all times, last flight was on G-JMAB 753 MAN-LCA. one time, good food, great flight

My experiences are based on G-JMAA and G-JMAB (when JMC) and they are a very good charter airline.

I found TCX an excellent charter airline when they subbed for my MyTravel flight. I flew on a 753, the legroom just the same as any other charter and very friendly crew.
Id think your in for two great flights, have a great time, look forward to the report on your return 🙂

Oh I got excited myself reading that, your excitement shone through. You are just like me, I am the same whenever I am going away on holiday, I cant sleep a few nights before coz Im so excited. Hope you have a fab time x
