The release of this DVD from http://www.avionvideo.com featuring my picture of a Balkan Holidays TU-154 on the cover.
It’ll be advertised in the forthcoming Airliner World magazine. It’s not on their website yet so this is a genuine world exclusive (lol) 😉 😀

Congrats, Sir Allen. I’ve never seen that airline on the cover of ‘Soviet Airliners,’ but that is a nice colour scheme and a great picture. Whenever you get that DVD out, count me in.
I just did the cover shot in this case dude, contact the website for a copy. As for my own dvd, watch this space.
And Whiskey Delta… they found the shot from browsing one of my web postings. Oddly enough it wasn’t on A.Net :p

Well actually I was just on my seventh pint when I heard this almighty roar and then….:D
Taken at GLA last September under the approach lanterns early in the morning. Why I could be found hanging around the approach lanterns early in the morning is anyone’s guess !:D  😉

Not bad! (front picture)
Having experienced a few Malev Tu-154, this is no B727 or Trident clone. (much more power). And there is a vast difference if you turn right or left entering the cabin. Lots of space in the back emergency exit abeam the intakes – and lots of noise. In the forward fuselage – like all other airliners.
Best regards

Congrats on the cover. Where did they get your picture from? Was it downloaded from an online database or other method?

There should hopefully be plenty of interesting charters heading over to Sweden in May to include in that vid…

Why thenck you my subjects, you may rise.:D
The dvd should be available from around the 20th of April via the above website.
As for my own video projects, still tinkering with the concorde tribute piece for online display. Can’t decide how I want the final look to be like and the bloke from Avion Video want’s a look at it now as well !
The Scottish Airports video will be shot by me over the entire summer, in order that I can build up plenty of footage of different types to include in it. So that’ll not be available until the end of the summer schedule at least. Oh and the Avion guy might be taking an interest in that as well ! Oh dearie me it’s all go at the mo.;)

Dear Mr. Frew,
congratulations on having your photograph used as a front cover for this DVD. For those humble souls amongst us, it is indeed an honour to have known you before you achieved notoriety. If we should meet again at a forum ‘do’, please, allow me the signal honour of carrying your camera bag.
I remain, your obedient servant….
Seriously, it looks great, if I were you I’d feel justifiably proud.
Any news on your video yet?
Regards,
kev35
