Maybe I am getting old ???? , but I have no idea what this aircraft is, and cannot find it?

Thanks in advance, the original caption said that its a DeHavilland?

I don’t know. However I do know that the photograph was taken prior to 10 August 1936, when it was destroyed in a fatal crash shortly after take off from Croydon (see http://sussexhistoryforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=15284.msg94326;topicsee…).

It wasn’t too difficult. The last three letters of its registration mark are visible under the lower port wing!
