A few shots from a very windy Duxford. Sadly the wind prevented the Prentice, Chilton and Queen Bee from taking to the skies and meant some quick reaction reorganisation to put a programme together, which they did with great aplomb.
The rather brave display theme seemed to be very well received although from from a hard commercial viewpoint it may never be repeated as the visitors and traders seemed to be appreciably down on numbers.
But on the whole a great start to Duxford’s season.

Thanks for all the kind comments.
The next opportunity to see the Meteor display would be at Kemble at the Cotswold Airshow in June.

Superb shots of the Meteor – just love those wingtip streamers, so nice to see one in the air, just hope it is at Duxford in July. The Hawk – which is a lovely aeroplane and looks great in French colours and the Grace Spitfire. Well done, great shots…

Super selection, thanks. But despite the weather forecast I didn’t think numbers were bad and the traders seemed the same as the last Spring show….but, as you say, a very enjoyable show regardless.
