With only 5 days to go until Britain decides who will be the next Prime Minister I am beginning to wonder what would be the best for us in Europe. So I have done a little reasurch and weighed out these facts:
IN: If we stay in the EU and Europe we are likely to remain pumping billions of pounds of our tax spenders money in to other countries pockets which will be used to pay for more weapons. (Accurate prediction!) We would be tied in to deals with other countries, i.e.: Exports of food and other goods, only to be criticised when we don’t. Our military might would probably be forced to ‘scale down’ due to lack of funding. We would get the added protection, though, of other countries. What about our relationships with America?
OUT: If we are taken out of the EU and try it on our own we would become, very quickly, a ‘disappointment’ in Europe. Our relationship with America would probably strengthen and the Americans also would probably become our main exporter and importer. George .W. Bush would want us to go into the ‘Sun of Starwars Defense System’ which would mean that we would be scrutinized by the remaining EU countries and might make Britain a target for eastern countries like Iraq.
These are just my opinions – if you ask me we should stay in Europe and the EU.
