In search of days gone by – where in the world?

The thread I would like to open is this, what old generation commerical scheduled airliners (passenger) can we still be able to book a flight on.
For example is there anywhere in the world where we can we still book a seat on a commercial scheduled operating Boeing 707, 747SP or llyushin 18 ? to name but a few vintage aircraft.

Unfortunately and I stand to be corrected, I think we are out of time on the Viscounts, I don’t think any more are servicable.
Personally I would love to see a Caravelle flying!

we need our very own John Travolta on this side of the pond…

Might there still be one or two Viscounts soldiering on in Africa?

I’d be very conflicted about stepping aboard but I’d love to just see one in the air again…

As far as I know Saha Air in Iran still operate the 707?

Iran Air, once a week or something similar to that.

As I said a trip to Iran would be necessary. However, I think I was wrong about there being an IL-18 operator in Iran.

I think a trip to Iran would cover all of these particular types.
