Here is a shot of the Lothian Longranger G-LILA landing back at Inchinnan after a Glasgow city tour on Sunday.

And here is the Emirates “Big Man” challenging the airport fire service to a game of chicken.

The choppers are of Lothian Helicopters. They don’t live here at the farm but come through when they have city tours on which is usually on a Sunday.
There have been two operating before but normally just one. All depends on how many tours they have booked. They do other tours around here too, like down the Clyde Coast. Listen on the scanner for the helo going through the zone then you’ll know the farm is active.

The helipad at Inchinnan is actually on the Bishopton road. Along Barnsford Road from round the back o the airport, left at Red Smiddy roundabout and it’s the first farm on the right. HeliPAD … not PORT (doesnae have customs).
Well Lothian Helicopters called it “Inchinnan Helipad” but it’s just a roped off
field really.
As for matching up with the local bus services. You call Arriva a SERVICE ??
Here’s another shot of the helo turning in to land.
