While at Midland Air museum tonight I heard all the sirens sound and the emergency services scramble, after a Gyrocopter came down on the main runway.
Apparently, when in the air attempting to land, it rolled for some reason, landing on it’s side.
I believe the pilot is OK as he was reported to have walked from the crash.
Everything apart from light traffic has been diverted.
Below is a pic of the scene. 🙁

Thanks for posting that pic. We were on our way back from Kemble in G-DHDV and G-AGTM and had to divert to Wellesbourne due “debris on the runway” Still, got a nice cuppa out of it!
Tom.
Is G-DHDV flying now then?

No mate, was doing some work round the corner, heard all the commotion and went to have a look.
I took the pic then just after, but a couple of people parked down rock farm road saw it and that’s all I know.
Cheers
Kev 🙂
