‘Pak Acquisition of Sophisticated Planes Will Not Make any Impact’

CHENNAI — Air Chief Marshal S Krishnaswamy said today Pakistan’s decision to acquire sophisticated planes like F-16 will not make any impact on India.

“Such acquisitions by a small country like Pakistan will not have any impact on our country”, Krishnaswamy told reporters here.

The Air Chief Marshal also denied reports in a section of the press that some frontline Sukhoi-30K fighters had been ‘effectively grounded’ following the detection of ‘nicks’ in the engine blades.
