Indian government, after 66 years are going to lift the ban on aviation photography starting with Delhi. This was done after an appeal by an aviation enthu from the city of Bangalore that the ban law was baseless and senseless in todays technology. The Civil Aviation Minister seconed the enthu’s voice and now the band is in the final stages of being removed. It has also come to known Delhi airport dueing its upgradation drive might also host a new viewing terrace.

What was the ban about?
Planes , airports , miliatry areas ….

Hand it was a very strict ban….no photography anywhere on the airports or on a radius of 1 km around them. You cannot take pics over the Indian skies. The ban will obviously stay there for air force bases.
