Indian Mig 21 will be upgraded to Mig 21 93 standards. This is supposed to stop the high rate of crashes which have equaled to about 185 in the past 10 years, mostly due to pilot error as said by IAF. The upgraded Migs will have state of the art equipment to countrol crashes. The new Mig will be roled out in 2 days by HAL. By 2004 about the whole fleet is supposed to be upgraded. Lets see if this can stop the Mig 21 crashes.
