This is a screen capture from Indy move. Is this aircraft supposed to represent some of Hortens flying wings? It certanly looks so and it was funny for me that they put it in the movie.Probably to make it more interesting:)

Not so sure about that – my girlfriend was there a few years ago and has photos. Will have to see if it has tractor or pusher, but I’m 75% sure it has pusher ones.

Don’t think it’s the same ‘airframe’ at Disney, for a start that has tractor props and the film one’s a pusher.

indian jones flying wing
hello
The flying wing in question was made by if i remember by a subsidery of british aerospace (called vickers boats?) they also made the full size millenium falcon used in empire strikes back, as for the wing itself it was disassembled (as was required when it was built) and was last seen by myself at an action stunt show in disneyworld in florida in about 1996 if it is still there though i cannot say.

I find this Luftwaffe secret weapons stuff irresistible – and thoroughly creepy! Just what if….?! 😮

It was roughly based on the one of Focke Wulf’s proposals for the 1000x1000x1000 bomber, one of those lovely what-if’s from Luft46.

There were more similar designs around, but this one matches the Indy fantasy plane closest.

It’s just a fantasy aircraft – although I would probably think the film-makers decided that a conventional aircraft would be a bit on the large side to blow up!
