India's Air Deccan's first A320.

Indian LOCO’s first A320…previously they only operated 4 ATR 42s.

I think that livery is total crap!
If you want an example of a great lo-co livery, look no further than Jet2. 😀

“you can tell an easyjet on finals from miles away! And thats exactly what the livery is meant to do.”

i was commenting on that, that liveries are not meant to be like which we can see and spot from miles away.

and yes Air Deccan’s livery is nothing good but it can be termed as better from some of the others.

thats for sure.

I know that. I do design liveries you know.

I’m just saying that the choice of colour here is not particulalry the best. The blue is too pale and looks washed out.
The cheatleine looks like it’s come from the 70’s

Easyjets colour scheme is vibrant.

you can tell an easyjet on finals from miles away! And thats exactly what the livery is meant to do.
Same with southwest, old and new.

This Air Deccan, it’s just another anonymous aircraft coming in for landing.

The c/s is to signify the charecter of an airline and is not meant to act like a billboard so that we can recognise it from a distance.

Southwests’ Canyon Blue livery is very vibrant. Their brown one was attrocious. Jetblue also has very above-average tail designs that I would classify as vibrant, to go along with their royal-blue bellies and cowlings.

I agree. The Colours chosen are also not strong enough. They look washed out and faded.

If they accompanied these light shade with a few darker highlights, it would be fine. But as it is, it looks bad.

Hey the livery looks good in cool blues. I must say though that the colorscheme is very un-Indian. Come to think of it, same could be said about all of India’s loco airlines.

PS: I just realized that actually Pakistan’s local airlines have a very un-Pakistani look too…
