Forgive my ignorance…. what do you mean by “have bought all seats for the next 5 years”?
You mean the seats aboard flights? Why would they want to buy seats on London – India flights?

The airline is owned by a group called InterGlobe. InterGlobe has bought all seats from BA, Virgin, Cathay etc. for the next 5 years. The group had placed an order for a 100 A320s at Paris last year i think.

I worked on the wings for this aircraft, the customer details on the line were China Eastern? I guess not!
