Info on wartime (poss. Battle of Britain) pilot

Just found out that the father of a colleague at work was a wartime Spit and/or Hurricane pilot, possibly flying in the Battle of Britain. Info is scant as sadly he died when my colleague was very young, but I wondered if this forum could help?

His Dad’s name was Dennis Norton & I understand he flew from North Weald. Joined the RAF in 1936 & retired in 1975. No other info at the moment.

Can anyone out there help please?

Thanks,
Nick

Yes, I seen a similar list of the internet, but couldn’t find him. Of course, it could be he was a pilot shortly after the B of B, therefore wouldn’t be listed as one of ‘The Few’…
