What knowledge can anybody contribute on this airframe? It’s a single seat Hunter.

If it isn’t – that means I’ve memorised the number wrong and it should be GX210 🙁

RE: Info on XG210 please
Thanks to all of you for this info.
The airframe intrigues me since it is sitting in the front garden of a house that I sometimes pass on my way home from Mildenhall / Newmarket.
Does look a bit sad. I will try and click off a digi-snap next time I’m passing.

RE: Info on XG210 please
Hi Moggy. She was from the 3rd Production batch of F.6 Hunters built by Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft in 1956. She saw service with 66 Sqn at Acklington and 14 Sqn at Alhorn, Germany.

RE: Info on XG210 please
Hi Moggy,
The number is indeed XG210.She was used by various frontline units before being passed to DeHavilland at Hatfield and used for trials work, and then to the A&AEE where she picked up the rasberry ripple paintjob. She was retired some years ago and is now in private hands as a static airframe. She’s looking a bit sad and faded, but she’s said to be in fair nick otherwise.
Damien B’s Thunder & Lightnings site has pics and info on XG210,aswell as many others.
