Information on WW2 RAF airman

Hello
I wonder if anybody would be able to find some information on a friends grandfather, I have googled him already but came up with nothing.
All I know is his serial number was 1671980 and his initialled name A. A. Gray, my friend is no longer with us but I have had his grandfathers instruction book and aircraft navigation computer for about 20 years now. I gather he was a navigator on Lancasters (weren’t they all!).
Thanks Paul

Sorry, you did say that, but as with all mods I skim-read.

Are you in contact with any of your friends relatives?

Thanks Moggy
Unfortunately my friend died many years ago.

Your friend as a relative can apply for his complete service record from the RAF.

It costs a couple of quid, but is worth every penny.
