Wonder if anyone can help ? I am looking to find information on the later NT12 magnetos fitted to the Rolls-Royce Griffon 58 engines that powered the Shackleton. Wonder would anybody have any drawings or overhaul information that they might be willing to share, in particular on the NT12 K variant ? Information appears to be freely available for the earlier NT12 types but not so much is available for the NT12 K.

As with all mags of that age, it’s the condition of the insulators that tend to kill them, particularly when tested hot. There are plenty of units around though!
