Apparently this Albatross is c/n 454; originally RCAF 9306. It was refurbished by Grumman in 1973, which may account for the change in engines.

A minor change of engine type alone will not exclude it being the same aircraft. Wouldn’t be the first one modified in service, er even for display purposes…

The least that I have been on was on the 28 January 2006. I flew from Cork to London Gatwick on an Airbus A319 with only 15 passengers on board.

Least – 17 passengers (including myself) on a BA B777 Jeddah to London one week before the invasion of Iraq (second Gulf War) which may have had something to do with it-The service was very good though!!
I have been on numerous full flights – usually BA or BMI on EDI – LHR

Least Pax = 21 – LGW-MAN Feb 2005
Most Pax = Many of my flight have been full, i recall my recent Zoom flight to Toronto full after the stopover in GLA, also my Air Canada leg from Toronto to Calgary was full, as it was the 8am flight

It is rare for charter operators in the summer to fly with any empty seats so therefore full. I guess the TCD 743’s take the biscuit with their 520+ seats. I have done a flight with 1 pax. Can’t remember the too’s and froms but then I have done BWN-BJS in a 757 with 7 pax (149 seats) and 16 crew or there were the 763 flights LHR-NBO we did regularly with 11 pax and 10 crew (can’t remember the number of seats).

Least passengers: I counted 37 people on a bmi A320 flying LHR-LBA (BD420) on the 4th April this year.
Most Passengers: Not really sure, I’ve done a lot of flights that have been pretty full. The FR LBA-DUB route appears to be consistantly busy, and I seem to remember BA0098 YYZ-LHR on a 777 (26 Jan 2005) being full, but 6 hours drinking Corona in Pearson airport before boarding and a LOT of red wine on the plane may have clouded my memory somewhat.
