Insignia I.D. Required

I’ve been asked by a friend to put this item up on the forum in the hope of identifying it, it has something of an inter-war art-deco look about it. It was recently found on the banks of the Thames at Woolwich.

It’s an example of what the Conservative Heath Government stitched us up with in 1971. No-one ever voted for decimalisation, and the British public were never even asked if they favoured the change.
The road to decimalisation was started by the Wilson Labour Government who wanted to show De Gaulle how European we wanted to become… and eventually led to us joining the common market which morphed into what is now the Brussels dictatorship… ‘er, sorry, the European Union.
The coin showed is the latest example of the five pence piece (A useless lump of metal if ever there was one.) It was introduced as an equivalent of the old English shilling, and now, is worth about three Aussie cents.

It’s definitely a lapel badge (note the “horns” behind the pilot’s head.)… and seeing that I don’t know of any Military uniforms with lapel buttonholes, I would think that it is a civilian or industrial badge.

Thanks for the suggestions Tony, I thought something similar but can’t find anything that matches. It must be pretty obscure whatever it is, I’m thinking it might even be a promotional item for an old film or some sort of war bonds badge.

Any more suggestions?

Maybe they could be bombardier wings from one of allied airforces? Czech, Belgium? Polish? I did wonder if they were Spanish bombardier wings from the civil war
