Instrument Panels

Hi
Does any one have any instrument pannels for to sale/to give that are in good restorable condition.

Im an ex cadet but theyve asked me to do a few projects and id like to do things like possibly getting into cockpit restoration to get lesser known skills back in to the people of the future so if anyone can help please post here or let me know

Also a cockpit now isnt now a persoanl item its for cadets so if you know of anything let me know.

I have a few leads i need to chase up but who knows

Thanks

I would like at the end of the day just the pannel thats abit tatty and that the cadets can “work” on and as and when i can get instrument fit them and then end up with a completed pannel

Then we can move on to bigger and better things such as u/c legs and seats then finaly onto a cockpit once we have the skills

I dont want to part with the cash for the initial pannel and id like parts for it to be easily avaliable so a type like a canberra or chippie where spares are easier than say a spitfire or hurricane

Thanks

We will have some Spit MkII panels up soon.Or if the cadets are keen enough I can zip over the drawing for them to mark out and make themselves.Basic skills have to start from somewhere..

If you know anyone who has access to a CNC PlasmaCam or a waterjet cutter you can knock out copies in minutes. I’ve seen half scale P51 panels for sale someplace. 😉
