It may be the same picture, but its a different panel each time ! Theres a production line “knocking “them up in east Lincs ;they used to be forsale at £600-, if you add the average prices of the instruments together, they come to much the same as the whole panel, although half the fun is aquiring the instruments ,and fitting them yourself! So although theres no logic in the sellers reserve price , theres none in buying one either !!

Hope to have some pix up in a couple of weeks.
The first replacement instruments are being repainted where there are a few scratches on the cases but my main problem is getting hold of panel screws to mount them.

I took some 4BA screws to CockpitFest..only sold 3 packs!!

It is against eBay rules for a seller to specify what his reserve is, in the auction details, title or even in response to (displayed) sellers questions.
Feel free to complain, but you’ll only get an automated response if you do. 😡

I punted a bid just to see if my theory was correct and it is. Even if I wanted it and bid more than the reserve there is no way I can win it without another bidder joining in.
Have look at http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buy/buyer-reserve.html

Agreed.

Note: I don’t want it.

Moggy,
This panel has been put on e-bay several times before, the pic is even the same. I don’t understand why this is being done. Apart from that the panel looks terrible.

Can someone explain to me the logic of putting a reserve of £485 (Spitfire) then starting the auction at a low figure so that if a person is interested however high they bid they cannot reach the reserve?

Just thought i’d mention… I have no dealings with any of the panels listed.. just spotted them here so other cockpiteers / panel lovers could take a look if they had not already seen them.
Cheers Cliff
