discovered part buried at the end of last year on the site of the old Sywell gun butts was this range shelter.
We suspect it dates from the inter war period, though there is some suggestion that it was resited from a pre WW1 range
It has already had a lot of work done to it to straighten it – and will be in paint ready for our opening on the 22nd March.
unusual huh?

Wouldn’t it just be easier to give up smoking TT, than to have to keep finding exhibits you could use for a sneaky ciggie?? :diablo:

havent found any on t’interweb mate but Sywell has a lot of odd buildings including a non standard, unique pattern pillbox.
The old Battle HQ which has now sadly been demolished was also a unique design built INSIDE an old barn to camouflage it.

Never seen one of those before, it could go into mass production as an indestructable bus shelter, to be used as a workplace for graffiti art, sponsored by Tracey Emin, whom we all respect of course.
Any news of a ‘desperately in need of TLC’ turret!!!!
