Can anyone shed any light on this…
Just happened to be looking at Manx2’s website and was browsing their online timetable and it appears to show that they will be flying from the Isle of Man to San Diego from “06 December 2010 to 12 December 2010 inclusive”, and the flight only takes 30mins…(see attached image below, just to show that I’m not going completley crazy?!)
I assume its a mistake of some sort, but either way, it made me chuckle…IOM to SAN on a Let 410…certainly ambitious.:p:D!

Couple of other interesting items on their website on the Twitter section I noticed. Seems some of their flights to RAF Valley have been going to Chester instead (I assume Hawarden?). Also, there are several references to difficulties traveling to London and they mention flying with them to London Gloucester Airport as an alternative?!

IOM to Sandown might have been possible! 😉

Of course, that explains it. Thanks T5.
I think they are also operating these “santa flights” from GLO too.:)

It’s almost certainly a mistake.
Look at the limited destinations offered by Manx2 and you will see ‘Santa Flight’. Conveniently, this flight departs the Isle of Man at the same time as this apparent flight to San Diego – 13.30hrs on Saturday 11 December.
There must just have been some confusion with the first three letters of ‘Santa’ also being the airport identifier for San Diego.
