Iraqi options!

I think an attack on Iraq is imminent. If you were in charge of defending Iraq what would you be doing now? What weapons would you be trying to buy on the black market or what weapons would you be trying to acquire from countries that do not like the U.S.A?

I think I would try to acquire as many Russian and Chinese built S.A.Ms as I could get my hands on. Some of the items that would be on my list would include…

MANPAD missile systems
HN-5 (China)
QW-1 (China)
QW-2 (China)
SA-7 (Russia)
SA-18 (Russia)
SA-16 (Russia)

SHORAD missile systems
HQ-61 China
HQ-7 (China)
FM-90 (China)
SA-8 (Russia)
SA-9 (Russia)
SA-13 (Russia)

Medium Range Air Defense Missile Systems
SA-3 (Russia)
SA-6 (Russia)

Any ZSU-23-4 I could get my hands on would also be a plus. I don’t think all this equipment would make much difference in a 2nd Gulf War between Iraq and the U.S.A but it would cause some damage to American aircraft. Anyone agree with this or disagree? What would everyone else try to acquire to protect Iraq?
